To be eligible in the category of Best New Artist, the artist, duo, or group: Must have released a minimum of five singles/tracks or one album (until 2020 there was a maximum of 30 singles/tracks or three albums, but this maximum limit was removed for the 2021 awards season).

19-year-old pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo won the best new artist and best pop vocal album.

She had seven nominations at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, which she won.

Olivia Isabel Rodrigo is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She gained recognition with her lead roles on the Disney television programmes Bizaardvark and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
