2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Coach C.K Akonnor Calls For Support Ahead Of Ethiopia Clash

Black Stars coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor, is calling for support ahead of Ghana’s 2022 World Cup qualifier opener against Ethiopia.

The four times African champions will start their journey to another World Cup with the game at Cape Coast on Friday.

C.K Akonnor wants fans to come out in their numbers to support the team.

“Usually, I want to appeal to the nation, to all our football loving fans to come in numbers, those who will be able to come and support us those who will be watching the game at various homes keep your fingers crossed for us, this is our moment this is our time and so we need your support to make it, without you, it’s always difficult,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ghana has been given approval to allow only 2250 fans to the Stadium due to measures taken to control the spread of COVID-19.

The Black Stars will leave after the game for South Africa ahead of the match against the Bafana Bafana on Monday, September 6, 2021.
