8-Year-Old Mimi Who Held The AFCON Trophy Sitting In A Palanquin During CAN 2008 All Grown Up And Looking Ravishing Presently (Photos)

The most memorable moment during CAN 2008 which was hosted by Ghana was when an unidentified girl was welcomed into the stadium for the final match between Egypt and Cameroon while lifting the shimmering trophy.

The name of her is Mimi Boateng, and she was only eight years old when four bulky men who are known in Ghanaian language as macho men, carried Mimi in the palanquin holding the huge trophy with her tiny, weak hands.

Today, she’s fully grown and stunning, 14 years after the event. It appears that seasoned media journalist Saddick Adams, a professional known for his role as Sports Obama ‘fished her out and was able to send social media into a complete chaos.

Obama shared the photos on his Facebook page and wrote;
