Blessed Godsbrain Smart, well known as Captain Smart, has started revealing some secrets about media houses in Ghana after his suspension from Angel FM.
Captain Smart, who was the morning show host of the Accra Angel FM was suspended for criticizing the government.
Speaking on ‘Good Evening Ghana’ hosted by Paul Adom Otchere, he noted that he will be okay if his boss, Dr. Kwaku Oteng ask him to quit his job because he is not a lazy person. Adding that his brain works.
Detailing what led to his suspension from the station, he disclosed that his boss confined to him that some government officials and people from GRA are pressuring him to take Captain Smart off air.
Their excuse is that he described the President, Vice President, IGP, and Allan Kyeremanten as fools. Something he says he never said because it will be the last thing he will ever say on air.
Well, the presenter, who is now operating his own television station “Smart TV” revealed on his show known as “The Smart Show” revealed that 98% of the media houses in Ghana don’t pay taxes as he dared Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) to start a tour at the media houses to investigate to see what will happen. Adding that GRA should start from the big media houses, Despite Media, Multemiad, and Angel Broadcasting Network (his former work place).
Now, we are asking could this be the bitter truth as that was the reason why GRA was threatening his former boss, Dr. Kwaku Oteng as he doesn’t have any option that to suspend the presenter to avoid paying tax, or he’s just making the allegations out of pain for being suspended unexpectedly?
