Maxwell Konadu Elated With Legon Cities’ Big Win Against King Faisal

Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Legon Cities FC has after his team’s 3-1 win against King Faisal expressed his sentiments about the match.

In an interview after the match, the former Black Stars player expressed his delight at the outcome of the game and revealed his hope that the result will increase the confidence of his players.

He said that they started the match on a good note and got the needed early goal, and dominated for large portions of the game. He added that his team was able to play to its plan and managed to hold on till the break with the lone goal.

Konadu said that the team was happy to be back at the El Wak stadium because a team’s home ground is where their spirit is.

He expressed hope that the win will keep the confidence and morale of the players high going into subsequent games.

Legon Cities FC is now 11th on the Ghana Premier League table, after the win today.
