Ghana Premier League Limited Duly Registered

The Autonomous Premier League Implementation Committee has announced that Ghana Premier League Limited has been registered with the Registrar of Companies of Ghana as a company limited by shares as the organizing body of the Premier League.

The Togbe Afede IV-led committee made the disclosure in a meeting with representatives of the 18 Ghana Premier League clubs on Wednesday, 22 February.

Ghana Premier League Limited will be in charge of the competition, regulations, broadcast, and other commercial rights.

It was disclosed to The Premier League clubs that bank accounts will be opened for the Ghana Premier League Limited. Each of the 18 Premier League clubs will be allocated one share, with the Ghana Football Association owning – one special share.

Football clubs in the country will have a representative on the Board of Directors of Premier League Limited.

The Ghana Premier League Limited, the Autonomous League Implementation Committee, and the member clubs will embark on subsequent stakeholder engagements, with institutions, sponsors, partners, media rights holders, supporters, the media, referees, match Commissioners and Coordinators, stadium or facility owners, and the general public.
