I Have Been Disenfranchised By INEC – Actress, Kate Henshaw

Veteran Nigerian actress, Kate Henshaw has called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for its role in disenfranchising her and twenty others at her polling unit.

The actress complained bitterly that she could not cast her vote because the BVAS says she is not registered, in a video, she shared on her Twitter handle.

Henshaw went on to say that she found her name on the register on the wall and the INEC register.

However, she can’t vote. She charged the one in charge of INEC in Lagos to find a quick solution to the problem.

While emphasizing that she won’t take kindly to INEC for toying with her destiny, the actress also called on international media organizations like BBC and CNN to note what is happening in Nigeria.

In related news, Nigerian entertainer Falz has been reportedly attacked at his polling unit and had his phone stolen according to a social media user called Bello who is an eye-witness.
