Final Funeral Rites For Late GFA Chairman MND Jawula To Be Held On March 4

It has been announced that the final funeral rites for the late Ghana Football Association [GFA] chairman, Lepowura Alhaji Mohamadu Nurudeen Jawula will be held on March 4.

The observation of the ‘40 days Adua’ following his demise has been announced by his family.

The ‘40 days Adua,’ will be held at the Forecourt of the State House on Saturday, 4 March 2023, according to the family.

This is in accordance with Islamic paradigms and will be done along with the burial and final funeral rites of the former GFA President.

Among the many dignitaries expected to grace the occasion is the Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

MND Jawula passed away on Saturday, 21 January at the age of 73, in the United States after a short illness and was buried there.

He was the Chairman of the Ghana Premier League Organising Committee until his death.
Alhaji Jawula was the Chairman of the GFA from 1997-2001 and also chaired the MTN FA CUP Committee.
