Sporting Lisbon Forward Fatawu Issahaku Dropped From Black Stars Squad For Angola Games

Ghana midfielder, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku who plies his trade in Portugal has been left out of the Black Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers.

Ghana’s new head coach, Chris Hughton has announced his maiden squad for the two-legged encounter with Angola.

The Black Stars will host Palancras Negras at the Baba Yara Stadium on March 23 before traveling to Luanda for the return leg in four days’ time.

Fatawu Issahaku who was in the Ghana squad for the World Cup in Qatar has been dropped from the squad.

The youngster has not had much game time so far this season. He featured in the youth team and scored a hat trick in the UEFA Youth League against Ajax.
