We Need Ayew brothers To Build A Strong Black Stars Team – J.E Sarpong

Veteran Ghanaian football coach, J.E Sarpong has made it clear that Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew must remain part of the Black Stars team.

In his view, the Ayew brothers have a lot of experience they can bring to bear on the team in a bid to build a very formidable national team under new head coach Chris Hughton.

Speaking in an interview with Original FM on the Super Sports Show, coach Sarpong said, it is too early to axe Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew from the Black Stars team because there is a need to build a team with the youth and experienced personnel so it is not good to retire the most experienced players in the national team.

Both Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew have been called for national team duties by new Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton for the two-legged qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The first of the two matches is set to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday, March 23 while the return leg will be played in Luanda on 27 March.
