Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil Hails Black Stars Fighting Spirit After Angola Draw

Black Stars’ midfielder Osman Bukari has commended the team’s fighting spirit after the draw against Angola in Luanda.

Ghana earned an away draw in Luanda on Monday evening in the second leg of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament qualifiers.
The match was played at the 11 November Stadium in the Angola capital of Luanda.

The home side went ahead in the game in the 51st minute through a Lucas Joao penalty kick.
However, Angola was denied all three points as the Black Stars clawed back into the game to secure a crucial draw through an Osman Bukari strike.

Osman Bukari who plies his trade with Red Star Belgrade was on the pitch for less than a minute when he connected a low cutback by Joseph Paintsil who was also a substitute to expertly buried the ball at the back of the Angolan net.

Joseph Paintsil, took to his personal Twitter page to commend the team’s fighting spirit after it came back to earn an away against Angola.

“Great fighting spirit from the team today” he tweeted.
