The coach has ruled out Mohammed Kudus, even though the Ajax Amsterdam winger and Southampton star Kamaldeen Sulemana are both eligible to play at the tournament.

He said he believes Kudus cannot play in the U-23 AFCON but we are looking at inviting good and quality players to come and help us, adding quickly that if only it’s a FIFA date, he thinks it’s the end of the season so we will have more of them.
