Antoine Semenyo, the goal poacher for the Black Stars, has expressed admiration for his teammate, Mohammed Kudus, praising the significant impact Kudus had upon his return to the team.
Semenyo considers Kudus to be the vital force driving the Ghanaian squad, and he finds it invigorating to have him back.
Delighted by the presence of the West Ham star in the squad, Semenyo affectionately refers to Kudus as the ‘star boy.’
“He is one of our best players. He is the star boy. He gets on the ball, creates stuff, and scores goals like he did today. It was a great addition to have him,” he said.
Kudus, who missed Ghana’s initial group game against Cape Verde in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) due to injury, made a notable comeback in the match against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
In this return, Kudus not only contributed with a brace but also played a key role in securing a point for Ghana through a 2-2 draw.
