John Fetterman First Wife

Born on August 15, 1969, in Reading Hospital, West Reading, Pennsylvania, United States,  John Fetterman is a member of the Democratic Party, and has been the junior United States senator from Pennsylvania since 2023.

Before his current role, he held the position of mayor in Braddock, Pennsylvania, from 2006 to 2019. Additionally, Fetterman served as the 34th lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania from 2019 to 2023.

John Fetterman First Wife

Gisele Barreto Fetterman, the first and current wife of John Fetterman, entered matrimony with him in 2008.

A Brazilian-born American activist, philanthropist, and nonprofit executive, Gisele is renowned as the founder of the non-profit Freestore 15104. She is also a co-founder of two other non-profits, For Good PGH and 412 Food Rescue.

Born on February 27, 1982, in Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Gisele, who was once an undocumented immigrant residing in Newark, New Jersey, learned about Fetterman’s impactful work as the mayor of Braddock. In 2007, she wrote him a letter expressing her admiration. Fetterman extended an invitation to Almeida to visit Braddock, and a year later, they exchanged vows.

The couple, blessed with three children, currently resides in a converted car dealership alongside their rescue dogs, Levi and Artie. Notably, they have chosen not to live in the official residence of Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor, known as the State House.
