‘My Mother Used To Borrow Salt From Neighbors’ – Patoranking

Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, better known by his stage name Patoranking, has taken to his Twitter handle and described how tough he used to have things with his mother growing up.

The Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter who usually shares some of his struggles and hustles he went through when he was growing up, took to the microblogging platform and showed how life can easily turn around for some people to see wealth in a short period of time.

His post reads as;

I heard my mom asking our neighbors for some salt, we had salt at home, so I asked her why she was asking. She told me, ‘They don’t have much money and they sometimes ask us for things. So I asked for something small that wouldn’t burden them. I want them to feel like we needed them too. That way, it with e much easier for them to ask us for anything.
