8 excavators belonging to the NPP’s National Women’s Organizer Kate Gyamfuah have been set ablaze by Galamsey task forces in the Eastern Region.
This comes as a result of the government’s renewal of its efforts to clamp down on illegal mining with the military directed to destroying excavators on sites.
In a video fast circulating on social media, some excavators which is believed to be for NPP’s Kate Gyamfua were set ablaze. Background voices were heard saying that the excavators are brand new.
