Fatawu Issahaku Lands In Ghana For Black Stars Duty After Sealing Liverpool Deal

Highly-rated youngster Fatawu Issahaku has landed in Ghana where he has joined Black Stars to continue preparations for the upcoming international friendly games.

Issahaku reportedly arrived in the county on Thursday, days after he signed a long-term contract with English giants Liverpool.

He reported to Black Stars camp on Friday ahead of the games against Morocco and Ivory Coast.

Ghanasoccernet.com understands Issahaku will be loaned to a European club to continue his development and mainly because of work permit issues.

The 17-year-old who signed for an undisclosed fee does not meet the requirement for a work permit in England.

This is because players playing regularly for their national team are almost guaranteed work permit and will be awarded a governing body endorsement.
