Nigerian Burna Boy has been crowned the winner of the Best International Act at the 2021 BET Awards.
This makes it a hat trick for the Grammy Award-winning performer who won the same category 2019 and 2020.
He beat competition from Aya Nakamura (France), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (Uk), Wizkid (Nigeria), Young T & Bugsey (Uk) and Youssoupha (France).
On records, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, rapper, and dancer. He is one of the biggest and most successful African artists.
He rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E
