As we earlier reported that the first lady of Ghana Rebecca Akufo-Addo has chosen to return all monies paid to her by the state since 2017 following the enormous public backfire.
Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo served notice she is getting back to the public authority a whopping amount GHC899, 097.84 paid to her as stipends since 2017.
This comes after many Ghanaians disagreed over a choice to pay her and the second lady Samira Bawumia who equally doubles as the second lady of mother Ghana.
Well, a statement sighted by Kingaziz.com indicates that the first lady Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo has officially refunded back all allowances paid her dating back to 2017.
With cheque number of 00002, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo returned every dime paid to her into the Ghana Consolidated Bank.
