Actress Funke Akindele Belo has allegedly revealed how she was domestically abused and blackmailed by her ex-husband in her first marriage.
According to a post sighted online, Funke Akindele allegedly revealed this in an episode of her popular TV series Jennifa’s dairy revealing the ordeal she went through in the hands of her ex-husband when she first got married.
Per the post, Funke Akindele suffered verbal and domestic abuse at the hands of her ex-husband who also blackmailed and threatened to go public and say false things about her if she dares leave the marriage to ruin her career.
Funke Akindele supposedly also disclosed that her ex-husband ended their marriage with a phone call and she was affected emotionally which cost her a lot of ambassadorial deals because she wasn’t in the right state of mind to do anything.
But today, God has blessed her with an amazing man who loves and respects her a lot, and some netizens have confirmed this saying they were sad for Funke Akindele when they heard she married her ex-husband and anyone who lived in their area knows what she went through.
this affected her both mentally and physically. She also lost a lot of endorsement deals because of that.
She later went on and show her appreciation to God for now blessing her with a better man and blessing her home with a set of twin boys
