Former Ghana international Richard Kingston has re-taken charge of the Black Stars goalkeeping department ahead of the World Cup qualifiers.
Kingston has been training the goalkeepers for the matches against Ethiopia and South Africa since he was reappointed.
All four goalkeepers Richard Ofori, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Richard Attah and Lawrence Ati Zigi invited for the qualifiers have impressed in training under the guidance of Kingston who had a playing decent career.
The former Black Stars shot-stopper returned to take over the goalkeepers’ trainer position early last month replacing Najawu Issah who was reassigned by Ghana Football Association to Black Stars B.
Olele worked under Kwasi Appiah as goalkeepers trainer of the team in May 2017 but was relieved of his duty two years later.
He made 90 senior national team appearances for Ghana spanning two decades before he retired from national team duty in 2012.
The former Great Olympics and Birmingham City goalkeeper was Black Stars first choice at the 2006 and 2010 world cups and featured in five Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
Kingston made 90 appearances for Black Stars in 16 years.
