In-form winger Yaw Yeboah has been included in the Ghana starting line-up for the clash against South Africa on Monday evening.
Yeboah earned a late call-up for this month’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, but he has done enough in training to earn the trust of head coach Charles Akonnor.
The former Manchester City player made a substitute appearance in the Black Stars 1-0 win against Ethiopia on Friday.
And Yeboah has been handed a starting role against Bafana Bafana, as reported by us on Sunday.
Akonnor has picked him ahead of Saudi-based Samuel Owusu, who many thought would start because of his recent exploits with the Black Stars.
However, Yeboah is in and justify the decision by under-fire coach Akonnor.
Black Stars hope to make it two straight wins to take full control of the group before the remaining four games.
