Ghanaian Ernest Poku Scores For Netherlands U18 Against Italy U18

Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Ernest Poku was on target for the Netherlands U18 in their win against U18 on Monday.

His goal helped the Netherlands thrash Italy 5-0 in a friendly match played in ‘s-Gravenzande.

The 17-year-old has been tipped for great things, having burst onto the scene at AZ Alkmaar.

In July, AZ Alkmaar included him in their senior squad for the season and has already commanded three appearances.

He has made one Eredivisie also featured in two UEFA Europa League games for the club.

Poku was born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parents.
