Mohammed Kudus Spearheads Ghanaian Trio In IFFHS’s Africa U-20 Best XI

Ajax superstar Mohammed Kudus leads a trio of Ghanaian players selected as the best eleven African U-20 team by IFFHS for the year 2020.

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) in their yearly report, released a team of the best U-20 players on the continent.

Kudus (20) is joined by AFCON U-20 winning goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim and Israel based left back Montari Kamaheni.

Ibrahim Danlad was the hero of the Black Satellites that won the Nations Cup in Mauritania a fortnight ago with Montari Kamaheni producing excellent performances for Ashdod in the Israeli league.

Mohammed Kudus has been the star for Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam in the ongoing Dutch Eredivisie and the Europa League.

He is joined by Ajax teammate Lassina Traore of Burkina Faso.

Manchester United’s winter signing Amad Traore, the most expensive transfer of the window, makes the squad together with Ivorian compatriot Hamed Traore, who plays for Sassuolo in Italy.

Another Burkina Faso player on the list is KV Mechelen’s Issa Kabore and South African duo Lyle Foster (Vitoria Guimaraes) and Luke Fluers of Supersport United.

Achraf Ramzi of Morocco and Fus Rabat and Mamadou Kaly Sane (Juve/ FC Basel) and Senegal complete the list.
