The member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong has hinted that he will run in the presidential race if the people of Ghana calls for it.
Speaking in an interview in the US, he noted that one doesn’t need to be a President in order to effect change in people’s lives because he is helping people in Ghana, although he is not President.
“I have a personal belief that you don’t have to be a president to effect change in people’s life,” he said in an interview in the US.
“I’m not a president, but you can see the things I’m doing to help Ghanaians.
“That alone is enough, but if a time comes that Ghanaians feel that you can lead and make a change, I will give myself some time and consider it. I don’t want to rush.”
Meanwhile, the outspoken lawmaker has already disclosed his intentions of not standing as a member of Parliament for his constituency after the end of the 8th Parliament.
