Recall that an Accra Circuit Court on Friday, April 16, 2021, sentenced Akuapem Poloo, real name Rosemond Alade Brown to 90 days in prison over a birthday shoot photo shared on social media last year. The actress was convicted on her own plea last Wednesday and remanded in police custody for her hearing which happened this morning.

She was charged with the publication of nude pictures with her seven-year-old son. She changed her not guilty plea to guilty before being convicted. The judge who hurled Poloo behind bars opined that her judgment is premised on the high spate of nudity and insanity on the Ghanaian social media space.
