2022 World Cup Qualifiers: Black Stars Arrive In Cape Coast Ahead Of Zimbabwe Clash

The Ghana national team, Black Stars, have arrived in Cape Coast for Saturday’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying match against Zimbabwe.

The team left Accra around 9 am, when they arrived at the Central Regional Capital at midday.

Coach Milovan Rajevac’s team will be training in Cape Coast Stadium at 4pm.

Ghana are trying to return to winning ways after the 1-0 loss against South Africa in the second Group G game. The Ghana national team, who are hoping to get back on track after losing to South Africa, began the World Cup qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory against Ethiopia on day one of the match. They are currently third in the Group G, with three points following two rounds of games.

The Black Stars are set to face against the Warriors of Zimbabwe in a double header, with the first game scheduled to take place at Cape Coast stadium on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
