Black Stars Demolish Division One Side 8-0 In Friendly Ahead Of Zimbabwe World Cup Qualifier

Black Stars were unsurprisingly too for their own good when they played Division One League club Soccer Intellectuals in a warm-up game on Wednesday night.

Coach Milovan Rajevac’s boys scored eight goals and kept a clean sheet to secure a convincing win in Cape Coast Stadium ahead of the vital 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Zimbabwe.

The positive news for Rajevac is that the majority of scoring goals came from attackers, with youngster Kamaldeen Sulemana and Fatawu Isshaku scoring two goals each.

Other goalscorers included Benjamin Tetteh, Mohammed Kudus, Yaw Yeboah, and Joel Fameye.

Black Stars scored four in the first-half and then repeated similar numbers in the second half, with Soccer Intellectuals restricted to half chances.
