Shatta TV, Shatta Bitters, Reign Body Splash – Tall List Of Failed Businesses Opened By Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale pride himself as an extremely serious businessman.

The loudmouth musician named Charles Nii Armah Mensah, is constantly attacking peers due to their lack of commercial savvy.

Wale always claims the fact that his work is an actual commercial venture for him, and his main objective is to make money.

He claims to have all the tricks and techniques to maximize his earnings and believes he is the most successful musician in the world.

If you watch this clown, you’ll believe that he’s the only musician who is serious in Ghana!

But, for all his bluster, Shatta Wale appears to be a pretty bad businessman.

In the past the entrepreneur has launched or promised to start several businesses, a lot of which did not result in anything.

Many of these businesses did not see the sunlight, or the ones that have come into existence aren’t making noise for Wale.

With this record of business, Shatta should keep mute frequently and stop boasting about the amount he’s spent in companies.

Shatta TV

In an interview with Dr. Pounds at the end of 2015, Shatta Wale vowed to launch a TV station known under the name Shatta TV.

He said that the purpose of the station will be able to inform and entertain the youngsters.

Is there something Wale does that isn’t claim is for youth?

I’m opening a new station in Ghana anytime soon and the name of the station will be ‘Shatta TV’.

I think the youth needs more channels to educate and entertain them and since some of these young folks look up to me, I want to put up a forum that will teach them the benefits of doing music and also the business side of it,” he said.

I think we can all testify to the fact that this business never materialised.

Reign Body Splash

In the year Wale released his album “Reign,” the singer tried to label all of his possessions with that label.

He launched with a Reign Body Splash and Beard Oil for men. The line of products is for males.

Again, we are all able to testify what a great job this venture has performed.

Shatta Bitters

Wale created an alcohol-based brand called Shatta Bitters some time ago.

Shatta Bitters has apparently been for sale since the beginning of the year, however, there is no evidence that it is performing any better than the other businesses he has.

Personally, I don’t consider Bitters to be my cup of tea, therefore I cannot say whether the product is great.

What I can see is that it doesn’t have an apparent market share, particularly because it’s a brand name that instantly connects it with possibly the most well-known musician in the world.

Similar to the other items like it, this one isn’t performing well. For all you know, it could even be extinct.

Shaxi

Shatta Wale’s latest venture is a ride-sharing application named Shaxi.

He talked about it extensively in the past few months, and it is now operational.

We can’t determine how well Shaxi is doing, but it’s not looking great.

I’m yet to meet a person who has said they make use of Shaxi, and it doesn’t even get mentioned via social networks.

Let’s hope that this one comes out with more success than his other ventures.

With such a terrible business record, there’s no reason to believe Wale is forced to use advertising for sports betting in order to make any cash.

If he is forced to rely on his business skills to make a profit the next time, he may end up bankrupt for real.
