Ghana Defender Andy Yiadom Fit Again After Missing Zimbabwe Double-Header

Ghana defender Andy Yiadom has recovered from an injury issue which kept him out of playing during the international break.

Yiadom suffered an injury before the break, and was unable to play in Ghana’s crucial game against Zimbabwe.

The Reading right-back did not make his chances to score the 3-1 as well as 1-0 win in the favor of Ghana during Cape Coast and Harare respectively in the World Cup qualifiers.

In the absence of the central defender, Daniel Amartey played as a right-back in both matches.

However, the positive news for Ghana is that Yiadom is in good shape and is expected to begin with Reading against Barnsley on Saturday.

So, he’ll remain available to play the last two qualifying games with Ethiopia in addition to South Africa.
