VIDEO: Lady Buys iPhone Worth Over ₵4,000 Only To Discover It’s Itel After Reaching Home

Barely a few hours after we reported about how one Nigerian boy was shortchanged when he was given an Itel phone instead of an iPhone, a woman from Kenyan has fallen victim to the same modus operandi.

Reports from multiple sources indicate the lady made the purchase at Luthuli Avenue (Nairobi) and parted with the local currency which is equivalent to ₵4,000 only to realize she has been given an android phone instead.

Although the phone had an iPhone logo, she realized it was a cheap Chinese Itel phone after switching it on.

This comes after a young man momentarily lost his mind after he was hoodwinked when he thought he had bought an iPhone 12.

In the video making rounds online, the bewildered man sat on the floor while examining the fake iPhone 12 which was running on an Android OS.

He was lost in words as he could not believe he had lost a huge amount of money in a twinkle of an eye to fraudsters at the infamous Computer Village, a suburb that has gained notoriety for such fraudulence.

A man in the background could be heard reminding him how he was warned against going to Computer Village in Ikeja to purchase a phone.
