CAF Champions League: Hearts Coach Samuel Boadu Names Squad For Titanic Clash Against Wydad

Accra Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu, has named a 31-man team to play in the huge CAF Champions League clash against Wydad Athletic Club from Morocco.

The Ghanaian champions will play their opponents African superpowers this Sunday in the Accra Sports stadium prior to returning to Morocco in less than a week.

A midfielder Gladson Awako is still missing while the striker Kwadwo Obeng Jnr still to come back from injury.

In the meantime, Emmanuel Nettey and Caleb Amankwah are both recovering from injuries and are expected to play for the Phobians on Sunday.

Hearts of Oak are hoping to qualify for the Group stage in the CAF Champions League for the first time in more than 10 years.

Two wins will ensure them a spot in the final 16.
