A user of social media believes that Shatta Wale deserves to be punished in the same manner as Madam Josephine Panyin Mensah, the woman from Takoradi who claimed to have kidnapped and was pregnant a few weeks back.
It is remembered that Madam Josephine disappeared in the nine-months-old pregnancy in Takoradi, but was later located at Axim with no pregnancy nor the birth of a child. Initial investigations by the authorities revealed that the woman wasn’t pregnant nor was she abducted as reported in social media.
In the same way, Shatta Wale was also believed to have been shot by unknown gunmen in East Legon last night. The story was reported by his PR person, Nana Dope, who stated that Shatta Wale was admitted in a private hospital for treatment, while the gunmen are not to be seen.
A statement made by Shatta Wale on his Facebook page indicates that the whole incident was faked. According to the post, he’s in hiding as his life is at risk due to a prophecy given by the prophetic word of God which said he’d be killed on that fateful day.
In the comments section beneath the post, a citizen has said his opinion that shatta Wale incident is not different from the one of the Takoradi woman, who claimed that both caused panic and fear.
