American-based Ghanaian rapper, Sam Safo, well known as Showboy, has disclosed the fact that Shatta Wale is scheming a strategy to market the release of his GOG Album, thus he is imposing prison time on himself to promote an album he believes will fade out in 72 hours of being released.
As you may recall, Shatta Wale, pulled a publicity stunt regarding shootings on East Legon. According to reports on Sunday night, the dancehall singer was shot by unidentified attackers and then admitted to an emergency ward in an unidentified hospital.
The musician was arrested on Tuesday night after he turned himself into the police station. He was ordered to appear before the court yesterday, October 21, for the first time in the matter. The singer was not granted bail and was remanded in police custody for a week, until the reopening of the case.
The truth is, Showboy believes that Shatta Wale has a plan to impose his own prison term to promote his forthcoming GOG Album. Based on Showboy, Shatta Wale, seeks to advertise the release of his GOG Album amid the ongoing controversy, however, the album will disappear from the public consciousness within 72 hours after it has been released.
He has described Shatta Wale as being a fool who played his freedom granted to him by the law solely in order to sell an album, which won’t remain on the airwaves.
