World Cup Qualifiers: 15 Players Report For First Black Stars Training Ahead Of Ethiopia, South Africa Games

More than 50 percent of the players turned up to this Black Stars’ first training session in preparation for the forthcoming matches in the coming games against Ethiopia as well as South Africa.

15 players were in attendance at the Accra Sports Stadium when Milovan Rajevac directed the team to begin their preparations for the crucial games scheduled for this week.

The team includes the captain of the National team, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso, as well as players from home Ismail Ganiyu, Ricard Attah, and Fatawu Issahaku.

Players who are yet to make it into the team are Thomas Partey, who is a major question mark due to injuries to his groin. Also, Netherlands-based Mohammed Kudus and France-based Kamaldeen Sulemana.

The Black Stars are expected to travel to Johannesburg on Tuesday evening to play the first match against Ethiopia that will be played on Thursday.

The match between South Africa is scheduled for Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Milovan Rajevac’s team needs to be able to win both games in order to be first in the group and be in play-offs.
