The hearing in court of two well-known Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale as well as Medikal has been adjourned to another date.
The two celebrities were both detained a few weeks ago following their encounter with the Ghana law for various charges.
Shatta Wale, who is actual name Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, was arrested and later prosecuted and remanded a few weeks ago after creating a fake shooting incident.
He claimed he had been shot by men armed and in critical condition, an assertion that was later proven to be false, which caused fear and panic in the community.
Medikal On the other hand was arrested for brandishing firearms in public after a video was snatched from his official social media account where he was holding the gun.
They were both granted bail after spending a few days in jail and were asked to appear before the court again today, Tuesday, November 9, 2021, for their hearings to continue.
The cases of the two Ghanaian artists, Shatta Wale and Medikal, has been adjourned to a different date through the Accra Circuit Court.
Medikal as well as Shatta Wale were seen in videos that show them leaving the court smiling as if they have already won the case against the state.
In a prior footage, Medikal was seen on the back of a street motorcycle (Okada) looking to avoid traffic to arrive on time for his court date earlier today.
The rapper left his Range Rover and other posh automobiles to get on the bike to avoid having to offend the Court by arriving late.
