Black Stars Reveal Date For Arrival Of Squad In Cameroon For AFCON

Three days before they face Morocco in their Group C opener, Ghana’s contingent to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament will arrive in Cameroon on January 7.

The Black Stars will fly from Doha, Qatar to hold a 14-day training camp before the tournament.

Milovan Rajavac has scheduled three matches during their stay in theGulf sta, including a club match, reigning African champions Algeria, and a yet to be named AFCON-bound nation.

Ghana will be based at Yaoundé, Cameroon’s capital. There they will face the Atlas Lions and Gabon at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo.

Their last Group match against the Comoros is at Garoua’s Roumde Adjia Stadium.

Ghana will chase the fifth title in continental history, which it has been chasing since 1982.

The Black Stars were eliminated by Tunisia in round 16 at the Egypt tournament.
