CAF Orders Ghana To Extend Arrival Time Of Six England-Based Players In Pre-AFCON Camp

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has ordered Ghana to extend the arrival time of England-based players in the pre-afcon camp.

This comes after the European Club Association and World Leagues Forum requested from CAF that players should be given extra days before they join their respective camps after their plans to stop the African players from participating in the tournament to no avail.

CAF has granted the request and has informed the various countries to expect the players to their camping no later than January 3, 2022.

The Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac named six players, including Thomas Teye Partey, Jordan Ayew, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Joojo Wollacott, Abdul Rahman Baba, and Andy Yiadom, who ply their trade in England for next month’s tournament.
