A spokesperson for the Ayew Brothers, Fiifi Tackie, has debunked rumours that Ande Ayew and Jordan Ayew have quit the Black Stars.
The Ayew brothers have been criticized heavily after the Black Stars early exit at the 2021 African cup of nations in Cameroon.
The West African powerhouse eliminated from the tournament at group stages after getting only a point from their 3 games in group c.
They lost their opening game by 1-0 to Morocco, draw 1-1 to Gabon, and lost 3-2 to Comoros.
After this, some Ghanaians are criticising only the Ayew Brothers, with some saying the team doesn’t belong to their father Abedi Pele, whilst some even went overboard by accusing Andre Ayew of using “Juju.”
Later, reports went viral that the Ayew Brother have decided not to play for Ghana again as they have quit the Black Stars.
Well, their spokesperson Fiifi Tackie has debunked the rumours, saying committed Ayew Brothers have not quit the Black Stars.
“Andrè and Jordan Ayew are still very committed to the Black Stars team as they have always been. They will keep donning the Black Stars jersey to represent Ghana and give the team their very best on and off the pitch, as always.
We just got off the phone.” He tweeted.
