Holt was a former Arizona football player and a community activist.
Holt was an employer for Livengood as an academic counselor and tutoring director in 1997.
He held this position until 2006 when he became the director of counseling at Casa Grande’s alternative high school.
Holt was an adult who enrolled at the University of Arizona and received both an undergraduate and a master’s degree.
Later, he worked in the group home and for Child Protective Services.
He was part of an anti-gang task force and participated in the Tucson Urban League’s Second Chance Program.
He died overnight on April 3, 2022, at the age of 60.
