Andrew Symonds was an Australian international cricketer, who played all three formats as a batting all-rounder.
Symonds was an integral part in two World Cup winning squads. Symonds was a right-handed middle order batsman. He alternated between medium space and off-spin bowling.
He was also renowned for his outstanding fielding abilities.
After mid-2008, Symonds had a lengthy absence off the team because of disciplinary motives, which included alcohol. In June 2009, Symonds was expelled at the end of his participation in the 2009 World Twenty20, his third suspension, expulsion, or exclusion from the selection in the space of one year.
The contract that he signed was cancelled, and a lot of cricket experts speculated that the Australian administration would no longer be tolerant of him, and Symonds could decide to announce that he was retiring.
On February 16, 2012, Symonds announced his retirement from all cricket forms in a bid to spend more time with his family life.
Born on June 9, 1975, in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Symonds passed away in a single-vehicle car crash in Townsville, Queensland, on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the age of 46.

Chloe Symonds and Billy Symonds are the children of the late Australian international cricketer Andrew Symonds.
Chloe is his daughter and eldest child, and Billy is his son.
