Judith Mary Murray is a tennis coach from Scotland. She is the mother of former British No.1 tennis player Sir Andy Murray.
Born on 8 September 1959 in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire, Judith grew up playing tennis in summer and badminton in winter because there were no indoor tennis courts back then.
In Scotland, she had won some 64 titles at the junior and senior levels. Murray studied French and Business studies at the University of Edinburgh.
She was the first tennis coach for her sons, Jamie and Andy.
However, it is not just her sons she has coached, many players have been under tutelage at the regional and national levels.

Judy’s father Roy Erskine was born in September 1931. He played professional football for Hibernian Football as a full back.
At the end of his career with Hibernia, he had made 46 appearances.
Roy himself was a tennis player, could play professionally because of his footballing career.

Eileen is the mother of Judy Murray and the grandmother of professional tennis players Jamie and Andrew Murray.
