Gaynor Faye, also known as Gaynor Kay Mellor was born on 26 August 1971, in Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire, is an English actress and writer famed for playing Judy Mallet in Coronation Street from 1995 till 1999.
In Playing the Field she played Holly Quinn; Fat Friends Lauren Harris and Between the Sheets Georgia Lovett.
Two of the episodes of Fat Friends were written by her. She appeared on Dancing on Ice in 2006 with Daniel Whiston as her skating partner. She won the maiden edition of Dancing on Ice on 4 March 2006.
She and her mother co-wrote a television show for BBC One called The Chase, a show in which she played Anna Williams Bedford from 2006 to 2007.
