Famous Nigerian comic skit maker and political activist, Debo Adedayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, has called on the government of Nigerian and religious leaders to take swift action and tame Nigerians before the current tension in the country erupts into a tribal war.
This comes after thugs besieged the Abuja airport road with clubs and bricks in their hands and attacked motorists on the road for no apparent reason.
In videos that have since gone viral, the thugs were seen smashing the windshields of motorists who had no choice but to speed up and run for their lives.
Responding to one of the videos taken by one victim, Mr Macaroni warned the government to take swift action before it turns into a full-blown tribal war.
He added that religious leaders must join the course, as it will do Nigeria no good if the tension escalates.
“This is sooo scary!! . The Government, community and religious leaders must take swift action to calm this tension… God forbid that we have a full blown tribal war!! It will do us no good!!! Abeg!!!!”
