David Alfred Perdue Jr. is an American business person and politician.
He served as the United States senator from Georgia from 2015 to 2021. He was born on 10 December 1949 in Macon, Georgia. Both of his parents were schoolteachers.
David while at Northside High School in 1968 is said to be an excellent student and class president.
Perdue earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering in 1972, and a master’s degree in operations research in 1975 from Georgia Tech after transferring from the United States Air Force Academy.
David worked for the international consulting company Kurt Salmon Associates for a period of 12 years as a management consultant at the start of his career.
