Rafael Nadal is a Spanish professional tennis player who was born on 3 June 1986 in Manacor, Mallorca, Spain.
He is currently ranked in the singles category by the Association of Tennis Professionals as world number 5, he has previously been ranked world No.1 for 209 weeks.
He has the most Grand Slam singles titles in history, with 21 under his belt; these include a record-setting 13 French Open titles.
