The American actor and film producer, Michael Bakari Jordan, was born on 9 February 1987in Santa Ana, California.
He is known for the role he played in the drama Fruitvale Station (2013) as shooting victim Oscar Grant, in Creed (2015) as boxer Donnie Creed, and in Black Panther (2018) as Erik Killmonger.
The actor cum producer started out with roles in television, playing Wallace in the maiden season of the crime drama series The Wire (2002) on HBO, ABC’s soap opera All My Children (2003-2006) as Reggie Montgomery.
He has also starred in films like Just Mercy, Fantastic Four, That Awkward Moment, and Chronicle.
Jordan attended Newark Arts High School, where he played basketball. As a child, he worked as a model for multinational brands like Toys “R” Us and Modell’s sporting goods.
In 1999, he started professional acting when he made a brief appearance in The Sopranos and Cosby television series.
