Ajax and Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has revealed that the goal of the team is to qualify for the Nations Cup.
The Black Stars will seal qualification if they beat South Africa in the penultimate match of the qualifiers for Cameroon 2022 in Johannesburg tonight.
Ghana is tied on to with the Bafana Bafana and Sudan, and a draw or victory will seal their place in next year’s tournament with a game to spare.
But the Ajax sensation insists the aim of the team is to win every game they play.
“The goal is to qualify for the AFCON so we go into every game with the same mentality, whether it is two games or one game that we have to win, the mentality is the same,” he told the GFA Media.
“It’s the same spirit so whether we will qualify after this game or the next game, it’s the same mentality and we are going to do our best to seal qualification tomorrow,” he added.
The Black Stars will next play Sao Tome in Ghana for the final game of the qualifiers on Sunday.
