Kenan Thompson was born on 10 May 1978 in Columbus, Ohio. He is an actor and comedian.
At age five, he was enrolled in an acting class by his mother. In his first acting role, which was in a church production of The Wiz, he played Toto.
Thompson worked as an entertainment reporter on CNN’s “Real News for Kids”.
He began his acting career in the early 1999s and starred as an original cast member of the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That.
He and Kel Mitchel (a co-star on All That) started their won sitcom title Kenan & Kel (1996-2000).
In 2003, he joined the cast of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, becoming the longest-tenured cast member in the show’s history.
Thompson has won one of his four nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on Saturday Night Live.

Kenan Thompson is the middle child of Fletcher Thompson (father) and Elizabeth Ann Thompson.
The couple has three children; Kerwin Thompson, Felecia Thompson, and Kenan Thompson.
Although much is not known about Fletcher Thompson, it is known that Elizabeth worked as a nurse at College Park, Georgia.
