Rapper Lil Tjay Shot And Undergoing Emergency Surgery

Rapper Lil Tjay is currently undergoing emergency surgery after being shot according to TMZ.

“Tjay was shot just after midnight in Edgewater, NJ. We’re told at the time of this post the rapper is in surgery. The extent of his wounds and his condition have not been revealed,” as quoted from TMZ according to the law enforcement sources to them.

TMZ revealed that there were 2 shooting sites, one at a nearby Exxon Gas station and another at Chipotle Restaurant

The victim at the Chipotle restaurant was shot several times and the victim at the Exxon was shot once, as we are yet to know the identity of the second victim.

Tione Jayden Merritt, known professionally as Lil Tjay, is an American rapper and singer who was born on April 30, 2001, in The Bronx, New York, United States.

Tjay signed to Columbia Records after he rose to prominence in 2018 with his song “Resume.”

His stage name is derived from the first letter of his first name and the first three letters of his middle name.
